Jean-Francois Rochecouste - Foundations to improve your paintings

Jean-Francois Rochecouste has been painting and drawing from an early age in a large family which include artists, photographers and writers.  He believes that learning the fundamentals is the key to presenting a consistency of work and setting a base when working towards new areas.  He maintains that painters work their emotions, and for this reason regardless of experience they wil get stuck.  The only way out is to review your fundamentals to see where you went wrong.  This workshop covers tha foundation of composition, drafting the main elements, building the base colours and finishing off.  The main medium used is acrylic and pastel, but this can also apply to many other art media.  Getting the foundations right will significantly improve the quality of your work if you are already painting or save you a lot of heartache if you are a beginner.
