Murray’s offers a range of art classes, lessons and workshops in Toowoomba. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the very basics of turning your vision into a reality, or an expert artist looking for a specialised local art course, come see Murray’s and talk to our expert art teachers about expanding your skill set whilst having fun!

We offer classes in a a variety of media including but not limited to; oils, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and sculpture

Come and enjoy the supportive and creative atmosphere of Murray’s Two Day classes with experienced local & regional tutors in a variety of mediums.

With a separate entrance, via Duggan st, this facility has been equipped to provide a memorable learning experience whether it be your first or thirty-first. With supportive and knowledgeable tutors, we can find a class, medium or style of painting/drawing to suit you. We welcome all levels of experience, from the raw beginner (who has not drawn since school or can only draw stick figures) through to seasoned artist (who wants to learn or refresh skills), our classes are inclusive and supportive of all.  These classes are designed for the artist who wants to extend their skills or learn a brand new skill from an experienced tutor.

Workshop Information:

Workshops and classes are held onsite at Murray’s Art & Framing, Toowoomba, in our classroom which has access from the rear of the store in Duggan St.

A deposit of $50 for “Getting Started” classes, $ 100 for courses  and $ 100 for two day workshops  is required to confirm your place.

Payment can be made instore, via credit card over the phone, or by direct deposit.

Workshop Conditions:

The Duggan Street entrance to the classroom will be opened 15 minutes prior to commencment of the class.

Students are responsible for supplying their own artists materials unless otherwise stated.

A materials list is available for each class.

Tea and coffee will be provided and students have access to the kitchenette and toilet facilities.

Fees must be paid 4 weeks prior to commencment of the class.

Withdrawal from a class after this time will attract a $15 administration fee and a refund of the remainder will only be given if Murray’s is able to fill the vacancy.

In the event of a class being cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, a full refund will be given upon presentation of your receipt.

Classes with outdoor activities are attended at your own risk.
